How to Add Your Facebook Profile to Your Blog

This post is to respond to the questions I have been getting in reference to how to add your FB profile to your blog. This is for Blogger only.

1. Once you sign into FB, go to your profile page.
2. Scroll down and while looking on the left hand side. You will see a clickable link that says, Create a Profile Badge. Click on it.
3. You should now be on the Facebook Badges page. Click on the copy button to get your HTML code.
4. Click on the Blogger link under the code.
5. You should now be on the Add Page Element in your blogger account (if you are signed in to blogger. If not, it will prompt you to sign in first.) If you have more than one blog with blogger, you will have to select which blog you would like for your FB profile to appear. If you only have one, click on the ADD WIDGET button at the bottom of the window.
6. The badge should now be posted and you should be in the layout section of your blog. You may now move the placement of your blog to your liking. Don't forget to click on the View Blog button to see the results.

MIA (Missing in Action)

You may have noticed that I have been missing in action. I do apologize for my absenteeism. I have been working on some great projects that I can't wait to tell you about! Don't worry, I am back, on FIRE and excited about what I will be sharing with you in the next couple of weeks!

I have been getting inquiries from people who want to get involved in network marketing and those that are already in with little success asking what should they look for when thinking about starting a home base business with a direct sales or MLM biz. Here are my thoughts.

• Consumable Products ~ Companies that have consumable products generally have a great re-order rate. If you are offering a great product(s) and your customers like what you have they will re-order. When you provide them with EXCEPTION customer service (and I know that you will) they will potentially be a long time customer and maybe even pass along a few referrals of friends and family members. Can you say RESIDUAL INCOME?
• Recession Proof ~ It has been said that the recession proof industries are alcohol, tobacco, and cosmetics. Folks are looking for something that will not be impacted by the current economy.
• Low Start Up Cost ~ Folks are looking for opportunities that are affordable. In addition, if they are required to purchase products, they will need fund available to do so to get set up for success immediately. Don't get me wrong, I am a firm believer of you get out what you put in. If you put a little skin in the game then you are more likely to get busy. If you go in with nothing, that may be what you get out of it.

Network Marketing???

It amazes me that there are so many individuals out there that do not know what network marketing is or newbies that have not done their due diligence to know how to explain to someone who asks the question that all of us in Network Marketing have heard, "Is this a pyramid scheme?" I want to break this down so that everyone will have the basic understanding.

Network Marketing is a distribution system or form of marketing that channels good or services from the manufacturer to the consumer through a independent distributors. This system cuts out all the middle men that are found in the traditional retail environment. Take a look:

Network Marketing is...

• A rewarding career opportunity where your income is based on your business building efforts.
• A Plan B that is helping individuals and families replace or supplement their income.
• An opportunity to work at your own pace and choose the number of hours that you work a day, week, or month based on your own personal goals.
• An online or offline home business that is legally recognized in all 50 states with a proved distribution system.

Network Marketing is not...

• A "Get - Rich - Quick scheme.
• A pyramid scheme or a scam that does not offer a valid product or service and only a few people make money and many others do not.

Do People Take You Seriously?

Do people really take you seriously when you are coming at them with multiple business opportunities? Are they confused on where to support you?
